Servings: 10 (about 1/2 cup)

  • Rolled oats, 8 oz (2 cups)
  • Raw sunflowers seeds, 1  1/2 oz (1/2 cup)
  • Sliced almonds, 3 oz (1 cup)
  • Oat bran, 1  1/2 oz (1/2 cup)
  • Honey, 6 oz (1/2 cup)
  • Brown sugar, 1/4 cup
  • Butter, 1 tbsp
  • Vanilla extract, 2 tsp
  • Kosher salt, 1/2 tsp
  • Dried cranberries, 6 oz

Step 1: Line a baking dish with aluminum foil or parchment paper, and set aside.

Step 2: Spread oats, sunflowers seeds, almonds, and oat bran onto a baking sheet. Toast in a 350 degree oven, for 15 minutes (stir every 5 minutes).

Step 3: Place the toasted oats and cranberries in a large bowl and set aside.

Step 4: In a saucepan, combine the honey, brown sugar, butter, salt, and vanilla extract. Cook over medium heat, until the brown sugar has dissolved.

Step 5: Pour the honey mixture over the toasted oats and cranberries. Stir and combine.

Step 6: Transfer the granola onto your baking dish. Bake in a 300 degree oven for 25 minutes. Cool completely before serving.

Enjoy! It can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week. :)
